How to Get Here

Getting To Raja Ampat:

First of all you must Fly to Sorong to get to Raja Ampat Islands. Sorong airport is called Domine Eduard Osok and airportcode is SOQ.
Straight flight from Jakarta takes up to 4 hours. From Bali there is no straight flights yet.
From Sorong guests need to take Marina ferry which takes you to Waisai, Raja Ampat’s port. Ferry takes normally 2 hours.

Step by Step from Sorong Airport to Doberai Private Island

**All over 4 nights packages include pick up and drop of to / from Sorong. Return taxi and ferry transfers are complimentary and only included when guests comes and leaves to / from Doberai.**

1. Sorong airport to Sorong Harbor

For this part you must take taxi from Sorong airport to Sorong harbour. (15 minutes). Our driver will wait you at the Sorong airport with a Doberai sign and take to the ferry terminal.

2. Sorong Harbor to Waisai (the capital city of Raja Ampat)

There is two ferry´s operating daily from Sorong to Waisai at 9am & 2pm.

Ferry from Sorong to Waisai is 2 hours. We do include our package prices regular ferry ticket but if you wish to upgrade the ticket to VIP it will be IDR 125,000 extra.

On the way back:

Morning ferry from Waisai leaves 9.00am and will be at Sorong aroud 11.30am. So if you have morning flight you need to stay one night in Sorong.
